We are the national umbrella organization established by CHWs for CHWs. We unite over 107,000 Community Health Promoters to champion legislative policy reforms, professional recognition, and the skills needed to deliver equitable healthcare for all.
Through our Advocacy in Motion (AIM) initiative, we equip Community Health Promoters with leadership and digital literacy skills. We are championing policy reforms to ensure every CHP is recognized, protected, and professionalized as a vital member of the health workforce.
ACHVO-K is the national umbrella organization representing and uniting Community Health Promoters (CHPs) across Kenya. We are working to strengthen the community health system through professional recognition, policy influence, and capacity building.
We are transitioning from the CHW Champions Network to a National Association, coordinating 47 County Chapters to ensure every CHP is heard, respected, and empowered
We act as a unified voice for Community Health Promoters. Our mission is to strengthen professional capacity through advocacy and policy influence, ensuring healthy and equitable communities across Kenya.
We champion legislation and policy reforms to officially recognize, protect, and professionalize CHPs as vital members of the national health workforce.
Through our Advocacy in Motion (AIM) initiative, we equip CHPs with critical skills in advocacy, leadership, and digital literacy to drive change.
We are building a unified national membership base, connecting grassroots networks across all 47 counties to foster partnerships and empowerment.
We bridge the gap between local communities and national leadership. By unifying over 107,000 Community Health Promoters, we ensure that health policies are not just top-down mandates, but are shaped by the realities of the frontline workforce
We collaborate with the Ministry of Health, County Governments, and global foundations to deliver authentic, community-led health solutions that work.
We represent the interests of CHPs on the global stage, ensuring they are recognized, protected, and professionalized as vital members of the health workforce.
